“An
Atom of Delight” |
| |
 |
| |
A relief
panel set into the wall and appearing “from within it”,
and making a sideways reference to the traditional plaster overmantle.
This panel was privately commissioned to complete a new house extension.
The point of departure was the autobographical book by Neil Gunn;
“The Atom of Delight” Using images from the book, the
work tries to express the intensity of experience at those moments
when you feel totally in tune with yourself and the world.
