Dollar Academy Sundial
A Declining Vertical Sundial incorporating a Sphere Dial, commissioned for a new school building. The sundial was designed to be used as an educational resource. The sphere demonstrates how the sun's light travels round the Earth in the course of the day. The two sided panel carries text on the reverse showing the Equation of Time and the Longitude and Latitude, while back half of the sphere emerges from the the reverse of the panel.
