The Helen Crummy Memorial Sculpture is unveiled
The Helen Crummy Memorial went public on Friday 21st March after being formally unveiled by Ricky Demarco at an unveiling ceremony which was attended my many local people and guests from all over Scotland who had crossed paths with Helen over the years. The response has been really gratifying, with warm commendations from those that matter most; the people with special memories of Helen; her family, colleagues and friends.
Already the 17th of September has entered many diaries - the day the shadow of the sculpture of the boy falls on its mark on the plinth! This day marks the anniversary of the unveiling of the first house in Craigmillar in 1930.
