Installation of the completed Sculpture of St. Cuthbert

Well, a bit of a long silence with my nose to the grindstone since my last post, but St. Cuthbert is now complete and installed. The sculpture, specially commissioned for the Lindisfarne Gospels Exhibition in Durham, will be viewable when the Exhibition opens to the public from July 1st till September 30th. The Lindisfarne Gospels, a stunning C8th illuminated book, are on a three month visit to Durham from the British Library in London. This promises to be one of the major cultural events of the summer.
